What is the Volunteer Academy? TEST

The Volunteer Academy (Highland) was established with a clear purpose: to provide a centralised, one-stop shop for volunteering across the Highland region. Recognising the diverse needs of the various communities within Highland, the Academy aims to bring services in-house while maintaining strong outreach efforts in each area, including Caithness, Badenoch & Strathspey, Skye and Wester Ross, Sutherland, Inverness, and the Inner Moray Firth.

Purpose and Vision

The core mission of the Volunteer Academy is to streamline and enhance volunteering efforts across Highland. The Highland Volunteer Academy seeks to provide comprehensive information and resources on a virtual platform, covering all aspects of volunteering. This includes offering a wide selection of volunteering opportunities in each area, supporting organisations that recruit or support volunteers, and providing matching services to ensure volunteers find the right fit for their skills and interests.
